Featured here is the new addition to the Carlisle family of decoys, a magnificent hand-carved version of one of the most popular fish in the Northeast, the decoy Brook Trout.Years ago this fish was typically found in the cold waters from Newfoundland to the warmer waters of New Hampshire. It is typically fished as a "catch and release" form of fishing in New Hampshire because of decreased propagation in warmer waters. There are not many big brook trout left.
These trout are made of Bass wood, hand painted with combinations of red, orange, and yellow blended with a raw umber brown presenting an unforgettable and magnificent replicate shade of this breed of Trout.
